Dr. Cook
William P. Cook, M.D.
Dr. Cook received a bachelor's degree from Queen's University in Ontario, Canada and a medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Cook's internship and his orthopedic residency at Baltimore's Union Memorial Hospital included specialty rotations at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Dr. Cook specializes in joint replacement of the shoulder, hip and knee. He developed the anterior total hip program at Upper Chesapeake Hospital in 2004 and continues to be one of the regions leaders in this procedure. Dr. Cook is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. McCoy
Derek McCoy, M.D.
Dr. McCoy earned a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Prior to joining the practice, Dr. McCoy worked in both emergency and urgent care settings and as a team physician with a variety of college, semi-professional, and professional sports teams. He is the primary physician involved in Upper Chesapeake Health's sports medicine/athletic training contract with the John Carroll School.
Dr. O'Mara
Edward G. O'Mara, M.D.
Dr. O'Mara is a graduate of Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont. He earned a medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. He completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Louisville Affiliated Hospitals in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. O'Mara served as an orthopedic surgeon, with the rank of Major, in the United States Air Force, at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Yalamanchili

Raj Yalamanchili, M.D.

Dr. Raj Yalamanchili is a fellowship trained joint replacement surgeon who specializes in anterior hip replacement using the HANA table, hip arthroscopy, partial knee replacement and revision hip and knee surgery. He is a graduate of New Jersey Medical School and received his orthopedic training at Seton Hall University, NJ and Alfred I. Dupont Hospital for Children in Delaware. He received fellowship training in joint replacement at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. He has presented and published research in peer reviewed journals and national symposia and has won numerous awards and scholarships for excellence in research and academics. He is affiliated with American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American Medical Association and serves as the Director of Joint Replacement at UM Upper Chesapeake Medical Center.
